I'm Back

So my old roommate Kaylee reminded me that I haven't blogged in forever. Like really, it's been a while. It's not like I haven't been doing anything. I have been doing a lot of things. First of all, I took an LSAT in June. No big deal or anything. It was a good time. Just kidding it wasn't very fun, but hey I did it. The day was fun. I hung out with my LSAT study group. We went to IHOP for breakfast, played a quick game of ultimate frisbee, and then got a jamba before going in to take the test at 12:30 pm. I didn't get done till about 5:15 pm. Just so much fun I couldn't even stand it. So, we'll see how that pans out. I'm not sure about law school yet, but I'm keeping my options open for it. Maybe I will go to Harvard....just kidding. (Or am I?) We'll see what happens with this whole law thing.

Anyway, so I was trying to figure out what to post. I really just work full-time right now and then go workout and then watch TV (Usually FRIENDS, Big Bang Theory, Pretty Little Liars, Twisted, Switched at Birth, Gilmore Girls, How I Met Your Mother, Melissa & Joey, Baby Daddy, etc. I think I might have a problem.) Other than that, I occasionally hang out with people. People usually referring to my roommates and Madeleine or Jenny. And boys. Oh wait, that's my sister Cassidee who does that. Haha jk, I try to hang out with other people too. Oh, and my job is great. I love my coworkers. They are so great! Since my team is mostly girls, we do a lot of girl time bonding. Except our team lead is a boy, so that gets interesting. And we have some great inside jokes, which probably shouldn't be written on the internet just in case. But, we have a good time. I hope I continue to enjoy my job after the summer, since lots of people will be going back to school. What am I saying, I don't even know what I will be doing after summer still. At least I know where I will be living. That's a relief.

So I never posted when I went to the Imagine Dragons concert on May 20. Oh. My.Gosh. Best concert ever! They were AMAZING in concert. I am in love with their music. And it was great company too. I hope I can see them again. I know this was forever ago, but I thought I should share so pictures. Warning: Most of these are very unflattering pictures of me. We were on the second row and it was so hot in the concert.

Before the concert. We waited outside so we could get good seats at 4pm. The concert didn't start until 7:30pm. We are that committed.

Cass, me, and Jenny. All in our awesome glasses. We are all obsessed with Imagine. Second time seeing them in concert.

Oh Dan, how I love you so and your masculine, beautiful voice.

Dan flew up in the air and it was way cool to watch! He did it during Radioactive and during the encore at the end of the concert. Yes, they had an encore of one more song.

People put their cell phones up during the concert and it looked so legit. Kind of like a starry, starry night. Seriously, so cool.

After the concert. Yes we were hot and sweaty, but dang, it was totally worth it for sure.

So that's all for this blog post. Hopefully, my life gets more exciting so I have more things to post. Until then, over and out. And Kaylee, I hope you enjoyed this blog. I'm pretty sure you are the only person who reads it. Thanks for thinking my life is interesting! :)

Graduation Day!

So I am probably the worst blogger ever. Like really. I am terrible at blogging. But that might be because right now I am attempting to study for the LSAT. Yes I know, shocking. But, along with working a full-time job (8 to 5. Everyday. I'm not sure what I got myself into.) But, my work did take us all to Iron Man 3 on Friday. It was awesome. They paid for our tickets and also paid us for the hour of work we left early to go to the movie. Can you say awesome job or what?
Anyway, I kind of forgot to post about graduation! So yeah, I'm a college grad. I'm B.A. now (bachelor's of arts degree in English and I do mean both connotations of the word). It was so crazy to graduate from college. I have give my soul, brains, body, arm, leg, sanity, and basically anything else I could give to BYU for the past four years. And now that I'm done, I don't know what to do with myself. I know it sounds crazy, but I am really sad it's over. I miss school a bit. I know, I should be put in a straightjacket. But, college made me feel like I was doing something worth while and working towards a larger goal. So, the answer to my current predicament: law school. But, we'll see if that happens.
Here us a collage of Thursday and Friday. P.S. I almost wrote college instead of collage there. Shows how devoted I have been to college for the last few years. Collage and college reminds me of a Gilmore Girls quote. Yes, get use to these quotes. This is from the trip to Yale, "Let the Games Begin."

LORELAI: Thanks. Uh, well, here’s the good news. You no longer have to worry about which college to go to ‘cause that cab ride was your college tuition.
RORY: Can we not say the word college for at least forty-eight hours?
LORELAI: Fine.
RORY: Thank you.
LORELAI: How ‘bout collage, can we say collage? ‘Cause it sounds the same but it’s actually very different.
RORY: Collage is fine.
LORELAI: Okay, good, ‘cause I don’t even know how to get through a conversation without the word collage.

Neither do I, Lorelai. Neither do I. And now for the collage.

Not Pictured (sorry Kaylee, totally stole your idea here but I love it): Getting Noodles and Co. with Kaylee and Cass before graduation at 5, standing in line to walk for like an hour in the heat with heat-retaining robes, walking a mile to the Marriott Center in heels [okay it wasn't a mile, but in heels, it sure felt like it], eating at BYU Day, attending Madeleine's graduation party, watching Chase and David's Lunchbox presentation for Boston, waking up at 8 a.m. for convocation [blah], walking across the stage to get my diploma . . . holder, taking tons of pictures--like tons, eating at La Jolla Groves, and celebrating graduation every night.
I also took pictures with Cass and Kaylee. We went to the canyon and snap a few shots (good shots, since Kaylee is a great photographer). This one is my absolute favorite shot. Love it.
I can't believe we are all old enough to be graduated. Now what? Guess I'll have to see what happens next. Stay tuned.

My Nephew, Baby Cole Feinauer

My baby nephew was born a few days ago! Happy Birthday Cole Matthew Feinauer:) He was born on Monday, April 22 at 4:12 am. He is the cutest nephew ever. And I will fight anyone who disagrees with me.

He is so sweet. I was able to go visit him after my final on Monday. I can't wait till he is released so I can hold him some more. I am going to be the best aunt! Auntie Courtney. Haha still a little weird. Right now, he is in NICU, but he should be released tomorrow. It is so weird that my brother and sister-in-law are parents. I can't believe it. But, they will be great. And Cole will grow up to be a famous athlete. Well, if Jordan has anything to do with it.

Nostalgia

I graduate this week. Crazy right? Since I graduate in a few days, I thought I would be nostalgic and reminisce about high school graduation. So for my first nostalgia post, I decided to post some lovely senior pictures from high school. I'm so glad I have grown up since then. I was young and naive back then. I'm pretty sure I thought the world was full of unicorns and daisies. Unfortunately, it's not. Well there are daisies, but i have yet to spot a real unicorn. Yet. But you get my point. And now, four years later. I am about to graduate for BYU. Crazy. Expect a few more looking back posts during this week. Graduation Day: t minus 3 days. Bring it on.
Note: I included a picture of my sisters because hey, I spent most of my college with Cass. And I lived with Kenz and Cass during Sophomore year. Good times.

Spontaneity is good, right?

So you know when weekends don't turn out the way you planned? Yes, that was pretty much my weekend. Totally spontaneous and unexpected. Which is good . . . minus the fact that I didn't get nearly enough homework and studying done as I had planned. But, this weekend I decided people are more important than school. (Right? I need validation on this.) On Friday night, I had two events. Yes, two. It was amazing. I never have plans on Friday night, let alone two different events to attend. Although, neither were dates. Still working on the whole dating thing. First, I went to The Wall, a new club-type alcohol-free hangout place in the WILK at BYU. It was actually pretty cool. I went to see my friend's boyfriend's band play (Red Yeti), but come to find out, they weren't going to play till 10 pm. But, I did run into my cousin Wesley there, and found out that my other cousin Sam (Wes's brother) was playing with his band, Red Orange. It was neat. I love running into my cousins.

After that, I head up to Salt Lake to go to the Pie with my friend from Bountiful. I love the Pie. Such good food! The cheese sticks and cinnamon sticks were especially amazing. I don't even want to know how many calories I ate, but every bite was extremely delicious. Since most of the table was full of testosterone, naturally we discussed sports. Almost the whole time. I think we spend 20 minutes arguing who was greater, Lebron James or Michael Jordan. We came to no agreeable conclusion. But, it was worth it. I love Salt Lake, and the whole evening felt like an adventure. Totally worth the drive.

I spent most of Saturday helping my friend with his paper. But, we ended up leaving Provo and heading to Scheels in Sandy. Still, another adventure. I don't want to discuss details, but it was a spontaneous adventure. Maybe I will post the details later . . .

So, in the words of Looney Tunes, that's all folks.

P.S. Sorry no pictures yet. I am still trying to figure out how to blog with pictures. Apparently, I haven't discovered the trick quite yet.

He loves me . . . or not

My roommate keeps telling me to make a blog post, but I keep telling her my life is too boring to post about. So, here I am attempting to make an exciting post for her to read. Since I am pretty sure she is the only one who follows my uneventful blog. Anyway, my life is crazy busy this week. But, today the hot guy at work (who I may or may not have a crush on and stalk on fb quite frequently) told me that he loves me . . . but in the "I love puppies" type of way, and not the "I want to marry you and father your children." Darn. Still, it's a step in the right direction. I hope. Peace out for now. I hope I have better news next post.
